Chantel Lee Thomas, a native of Canonsburg, PA, is the wife of Pastor Charles E. Thomas Jr. and First Lady of Mt Carmel Community Baptist Church in Steubenville, OH. She serves in several capacities as an excellent leader and an example of a virtuous woman.

Lady Thomas graduated from Canon McMillan High School, Sawyer Business School with an Associates Degree in Medical Assisting/Clinical Administration.  Currently, the First Lady is in her last year of studies at California University of PA where she is majoring in Psychology.  She will begin her Master’s Degree work in Community, Family & Marriage Counseling in the spring of 2008.  

Currently, Lady Thomas is the Leader of Youth Ministry at Mt. Carmel where she has instituted 2 Youth Bible Studies and part of the planning team for upcoming events for the youth.  Lady Thomas along with Pastor Thomas provides Pre-Marital and Marital counseling to couples.  Lady Thomas’ is also a professional photographer having owned her own studio as well as being previously employed as an Assistant Manager at the Picture People; Registration Clerk at Ohio Valley Hospital, Canonsburg Hospital and the Greenery Rehabilitation Center.

While obligations to educational and ministerial commitments are a priority, Lady Thomas faithfully serves as her husband’s helpmate and wonderful mother to their four children: Carra, Keirsten, Tierra, and Andrew.
